Max Raabe, born in 1962 in Lünen, is a unique artist known for his distinctive baritone voice and dry humor. In 1986, he founded the Palast Orchester with fellow students from the Berlin University of the Arts, bringing the glamorous music of the 1920s and 1930s to life with passion and precision.

With hits like "Kein Schwein ruft mich an," Max Raabe combines nostalgic charm with timeless elegance. The ensemble also offers original compositions and surprising reinterpretations, creating a blend that appeals to all generations.

Max Raabe has a soft spot for animals, humorously expressed in his song "Hummel." He dreams of a world where he hides cookies in kangaroo pouches, fells trees with beavers, and enjoys life’s small pleasures. Everyday topics like autocorrect ("Nochmal von vorn"), cycling, and missed moments also make their way into his lyrics.
